The Goal

This project aims to show the recent history of the once-storied Alexandria City High School football team, whose 1971 state championship team was immortalized in the 2000 film “Remember The Titans.” Through interviews, research, and study, this project will analyze the program’s current situation, identify factors outside of the field that have caused a program-wide decline, and the steps being taken within the city and school system to provide a better future.
